Yes, that is me. My real name is Angelo. Marbles is my stage name. Why do I have a stage name, you may ask? Way back in the 80’s I was in a Punk Band called The Chiselers. See the pic below… Kind of a Gangster motif. Our motto was “The Greatest Criminal Minds in Punk Rock” We all adopted “Dick Tracy” kinda names. Phil, DeGraves, Max Volume, Johhny Rage, Victor Paisley to name a few. Including the notorious Ajax Lepinski of The Nihilistics we were off to Rock & Roll stardom. We were very popular, regulars at the famous Right Track Inn of Freeport, The Continental in NYC and CBGB’s among others. The name stuck & more people came to know me as Marbles. My friends and family call me by real name of course but they all know who I am on stage. It is funny for shure and sometimes opens doors for me better than my ethnic real name. I dont hide behind it but in this online world it helps to have some privacy. I live on Long Island in NY, ride a Vespa & Royal Enfield Motorcycle. I founded the Long Island Scooter club in 1999. Nowadays I play in a band called Strange But Surf. Besides posting & being outspoken, I am known for my Drumming but I have been playing guitar even longer, BTW. I aint bad and I do my best to, Carry On… MM
