Not So Good Morning…

Not so Good Morning Facebookers. On July 12 my freind of 50 years, Eric Hessen passed away suddenly. He was known as “Max Volume” & played Guitar in our Punk Rock Band, The Chiselers. Along with Ajax Lepinski, Phil Degraves & Victor Paisley we rocked stages from CBGBs, The Continental & more to The Right Track inn and all over Long Island. To say he was the nicest person would be an understatement. To say that I am devestated by this would also be an understatement. I went to West End 2 Jones Beach, yesterday, which is the place we would all spend so much time at when not trying to be rock stars. Typing this out is very hard, I am truly fucked up about this. We met in High School in 1976 the day after I moved from Brooklyn and a bond between us formed for the ages. Those ages will be much less colorful now. A memorial concert will happen & a private gathering will happen soon but this will leave a serious scar on my soul for as long as I have one. I am very yhankful for the few good people around me helping me to Carry On… Chisel Or Be Chiseled!
